Maria Muñoz entres on European dance scene since early eighties with Shusaku and Dormu Dance Theatr company in Holland.

Besides her intense work for Mal Pelo she collaborates with Angels Margarit of Mudance, creates choreography for performance TRABAJOS DE AMOR PERDIDOS (1997) and COMEDIA DELS ERRORS (1999) directed by Helena Pimenta. She collaborate with Lisa Nelson, EEUU, in the project IN FACE OF.

Dance is an immediate physical experience, but its poetry is a complex. It must be extended through time in order to be understood at it deepest level, going beyond the first reading. In this workshop we will focus on the idea and practice of the silence. We will focus on the path from silence to movement by means of improvising. Improvisation originated in a chain of decisions, where the accumulated life experiences, the senses, and the ability of imagination are part of it.
We will allow each participant to study and reflect on the relationship between the centre and the periphery, balance and unbalance and on the suspension using the movement possibilities related to the natural use of the joints.
