In addition to choreographical work, he leads number of workshops in Europe and in the USA.
In his pedagogical work Sandroni concentrates mainly on developing personal way of moving. Based on advanced dance technique he helps to each participant to discover own strength and personal way of moving and interpreting. He does not teach movement but through assimilation of basic physical rules allows dancers to find freedom in their own use of the body. The task for the dancers to achieve during the workshops is to get confident with own movement, chorographical material and composition.
Through games and improvisation Sandroni searches, together with workshop participants for individual dance material which is later used for composition needs. He focuses on variety of created chorographical material by changing an intention of execution.
Sandroni treats extremes within that tasks - impulse, speed and silence. He brings dancers to an idea of global-round dance, which is not based on fixed theoretical rules, but on individual needs of each mind and body.
The workshop is in Italian/English.
