A project aimed at integrating performing arts and social environmental consciousness. An artistic collaboration is set up with various European co-organisers (public and private theatres and festivals) and including Déjà Donné realising and acting in performances and workshops.
Before each series of performances workshops with children are organized by all of the co-organizers in their cities involving local authorities, schools and waste companies. Children (9/13 years old) are the main target of these workshops and are also acting in the performance. A closer relationship with local communities is realised thanks to:
– presentation of performances in theatres
– a web site informing on the project, its activities, photo reports and video documentation
– intense collaboration with local education institutes in the framework of workshops
– involvement and collaboration with local refuse industry
– collection, analyses and distribution of achieved research results

A two days long meeting of co-organisers took place in London at the end of September 2006. The creation of the piece was performed in Nuernberg/Germany and Castiglione del Lago (PG) loc.Ferretto/Italy from beginning of July till half September 2006. In September, October and November 2006 the workshops and performances took place in a first group of cities (Prague, London, Stuttgart, Ludwigshafen). In February and March 2007 the second part of the programme will take place in Stuttgart, Prague and Perugia. In April and May 2007 the coordination team will collect, select and analyze video documents and reports related to the activities, elaborate the final results and realize a DVD and leaflet on the achieved results published on the web-site. On 19th May 2007 the partnership will organize a final conference and a meeting of co-organizers in Perugia.
